Exactly, thus I say to OP: Yes, you can be influenced. Some people better than others. But, as humans, everyone has a "price". Once someone finds this price, you are more easily influenced.

Exactly! thus I say to the OP:

No, I cannot be influenced to believe that I have seen a ghost just because someone says I should.

PROOF: Having lived in Gettysburg my whole life, i have NEVER seen a ghost, despite everyone believing this place is infested with them.Icontexto-emoticons-07-032x032

Thusly, I have witnessed in this forum and in this very discussion one person indirectly influencing another by inciting a reaction with or without intent. Interesting considering the original topic.

It's like something I read about in a psychology class years ago when I was but a high school lad just barely out of diapers. A person who was very healthy at the start of the day was repeatedly told over the course of the morning that he looked ill. By the end of the day he was experiencing physical symptoms such as vomiting and fever.

Here is an example of how people can be influenced, a study actually convinced people they went to Disney land and met bugs bunny. Now we all know bugs is Warner brothers and isn't in a Disney park. results have varied from 16% up to 36% of people had memories altered. This can also happen at an accident, or emergency situation. An interesting experiment.

Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

Influenced or tricked?
Can't happen to me.
1-never been to Disneyland.
2-only got one braincell and it is busy keeping me breathing.
I am now gasping for breath because I was using the one braincell to type this.

I think that anyone can be influenced. I had recently red a book about psychotronic weapons, bio generators(combination between machine and occult) which can produce microwaves equivalent to the gama and delta waves in human brain.Delta waves, are commonly associated with slow-wave sleep. This type of wave is rarely seen in adults and usually manifests only when someone is intoxicated or having deliriums. They are a common feature in people suffering from dementia or schizophrenia. On the other hand, gamma wave used to be ignored as part of any brain activity. Current studies, however, point to gamma waves as responsible for hyper-alertness and integration of sensory inputs. There is biogenerator which can produce radiowaves to influence sleeping in area of 100km2.Another biogenerator exist which was used like psychotronic weapon in one war to instill horror in opposite side. There is an also Neuro-linguistic programming (so call psychotherapy) and technotronic weapons. There is experimental treatment in America for healing addicted people from drugs, alcohol...
The addicted is siting before computer with headphones and watching 20 minutes videoclip (especially made to influence his subconscious with special combination of frames of pictures and combination of sounds) and listening and answering (directly in his head in his subconscious)thousands of questions, the addicted cannot lie due to influence in his subconscious and after his "confession" he is "programmed' with words commands to what to do.This treatment (for me at least) is parody of holy confession and redemption it's look like soul raping because addicted has no free will(which is important to beat any addiction and any weakness in us)to what to do he is simply influenced and programed like(bio)robot.
Here is link if someone is interested to know something about psychotronic weapons.
