Please help

Sex is just a part of being human. The bible has been manipulated through time, scripts has been left out, etc.... It is possible that "sex is not a sin" speeches was left out by those who composed the bible.

I believe you are indeed worthy to enter heaven. Trust your self, do what you feel is natural. They say that God forgives everything.

RE: Sex before marriage
I am not trying to take a carnal path here so please don't read me wrong on this. But i have seen on several occasions with friends that have taken a path of not being intimate before marriage a completely different attitude toward their partner after the marriage and not in a good way.....just saying.....

yes i agree with you roland, and also you get people that have sex with people they dont know and dont care for, which would be lust i think, probably one night stands, which seem somewhat wrong.

maybe they were not interested in the partners they married, such as the case of arranged marriages

Haven't seen many arranged marriages in my neck of the woods but i would think they probably don't create a happy environment for the couple.
Lust is the way we are programed to me it seems for money, sex, clothes, makeup and hair styles people are kept in a frenzy.
If you are relatively young and a female this is just my opinion here make sure this person is the one you want and like you say not just lust of the moment.
Because there are lots people out there that are just bodies for sex. But very few that you can really have a happy life with. And will be in your corner in good times and bad.Choose carefully and consider all options.

Yes,God will forgive us.But the catch is that you are truly sorry for what you´ve done. You need to know that what you are doing is a sin.
I personally dont have anything against it,and I dont belive that it is a sin to make love with your loved one.I do believe that it is not good to sell your body either. That is a sin.So I dont expect from God to forgive me that. And also I can never tell my thoughts to a priest because it doesnt end well, just as I experienced it many timesSmile

I agree with you, it doesn't seem wrong to make love to a loved one, but like i said, people who have ''one night stands'' are those that definitely sin.
thank you for reply

RE: Sex before marriage
Of course I'm coming from a totally different religion/viewpoint here but I feel that there is nothing wrong with fulfilling your bodies needs/desires. As long as you are not hurting anyone in the process (I.E. Rape, extra-marital affairs and what not) then it should not be seen as a sin (granted I don't believe in sin).

Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,
For I would ride with you upon the wind,
Run on the top of the dishevelled tide,
And dance upon the mountains like a flame.
(William Butler Yeats, "The Land of Heart's Desire," 1894)

RE: Sex before marriage
If god thought it was such a horrible thing, he wouldn't have made it feel so good, personally. It's like when you lie to someone for example, you feel in the pit of your stomach that you're wrong. When 'making love' though, it feels so right. I definately believe that there is a lot that was left out of the bible, and that it has been manipulated a little, and for that reason I feel you won't go to hell if you don't go to church on a weekly basis, just as you won't for commiting adultery, if within your heart god knows where you truly lie.

Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood. ~Marie Curie
