Wow, that was some pretty heavy stuff. I dont really know how to answer, but i will agree with Isis, as i also know that after this life is over, God will take me, so in a way, i will live forever.

Thank you. It's mostly in response to all of the requests from people who want to be "turned" into vampires.

It's funny how they all go quiet when you ask them something like this, hehe.

I have never been into the whole vampire thing. From what i have read about original vampires, it all seems to be very brutallity and torchure. Vlad the impalor was a monster, and really i feel that vampirism these days is a lot of media, and movie creation.

I have read stories on here about people thinking they are vampires, and just cant get into it. I have never met a vampire, and i have met a lot of things in my life. I guess this is one subject that i would need proof on.

I am very open minded about many things, as many on here know that, but vampires,,, nnnaaaaaa.........It would be very dangerous for a person to drink anothers blood. A human bite is worse than a dog bite. A human mouth is full of all types of bacteria and such.

So, thats where i stand on the subject.

So, are you saying that you are a vampire??? If so, in what way??? You have got my curiousity up!!!!

You make some very good points K2M.

I would like to add that not only is a humans bite dangerous, the drinking of human blood is dangerous as well. Our digestive tracts are not set up to digest such things. Not only will it make you horribly sick, consuming large amounts of blood can lead to death. Therefor, I DO NOT suggest this practice.

Hollywood has glamorized vampirism for decades. I feel this is one of the main reasons there are so many individuals seeking and wanting to be one. Research the actual mythology behind the vampire and you will find that it is not so inviting and glamorous as movies and television has made it out to be.

I'm 100% ok with you on this, however here in Europe we do make blood sauces which is nothing more than blood mixed in with spices but it can not be kept long as the blood cogulates rapidly!

Ohyeah... there is... THAT - in Europe.

I just prepped an article on "Revenants" - 12th Century Europe... a lot of lore about vampires, revenants, "un-dead" beings.

I'll just keep checking in on this thread. Interesting opening post!

They also do it in America also. Make a sauce or gravy out of blood. At least the Hispanic culture do! My Grandmother & Mom used to & still does make a gravy with the blood of an animal & add spices to it. I didn't ask what animal though & I NEVER ate it. I'd also turn away when they used to eat "blood sausage". It looked like bologna but was reddish in color. I haven't a clue if it actually had animal blood in it but I just couldn't fathom the thought of eating blood.
