I Ching Questions Anyone?
#31
(08-06-2010, 11:05 PM)K2M Wrote: Lady K. you know my situation very well. If you dont mind, could you tell me if i will stay where i am and make a life for myself, or, go back??? I already know what my answer is, and so do you!!!

Maybe the question is, can i survive on my own with my health problems? My concern is finances for my future.

Should I turn back, or will I have health and prosperity on my own?

Hexagram 46 (line 6 moving) Arising, Growth, Moving Up. This hexagram has to do with upward mobility and having no fear. Very plainly it describes the need for moving within blind faith.

Tree under Earth. The tree pushes it way up through the earth, the energy is moving outward and upward. This isn't a sudden or aggressive movement...the earth just needs to be moved aside gently for the tree to reach the light.

Line 6 moving states~Rising in the darkness with eyes shut. You are moving into unknown territory, stay alert to hidden forces and adapt to your new surroundings. When in the dark, you cannot lose heart halfway.

Pride and Fear always distort the truth into either a false sense of security or a lack of confidence and diminished self-worth.

Now that few have asked some questions and I have offered an I Ching reading, I figured I would say a few words...

I am really impressed that this oracle seems to work as well as it does. When I say work though, I mean that the coincidences in the coin tossing really astound me. It seems like each hexagram falls into place and explains very specifically what appears to be a real relation to the question at hand.

I will say it's all in fun and for entertainment purposes only. Would I personally put my faith in 6 coins in a heads or tails toss? Not very likely. I will continue to study this ancient practice, and document my findings. With that, I still know that no future is set in stone...and in the end we choose our paths. Only God can truly guide us, but sometimes a little help in eliminating the fear that paralyzes us in making choices can be an empowering thing.

I know in my own life I always stopped short of making the choices which could have led to real success and prosperity. I mas motivated in my decision making by fear of the unknown. I always moved in 'safe circles'. If only I had taken the risks that might have opened more doors...

Now I can offer that to others through the I Ching. I think that's a beautiful thing.

To be very honest with you CMF, I am too. I asked only one question of the I Ching for myself. Though the outcome was pleasant, I was sweating it!

I know exactly what you mean... if i would have followed my other path i probably would have ended up in California or Mass USA... One of those two states... as i have uncles, aunts and cousins there... so whichever my dream came true at would be where i ended up... The last time i was in MASS, USA... i wanted to stay, i hated the fact i was leaving. But i ain't dead yet, who knows where i'll still end up at...

Should I get married to my current gf? If I do so will we be happy and prosperous?
Or should I just waste my paychecks at the stripclub?

Why not ask the big questions eh? lol

Well first of all let's address the final inquisition first. This place advertises on TV that they are the best strip joint in town and that your money is wisely spent here; http://www.pullapart.com/

Should I marry my current partner and will there be prosperity and happiness?

Hexagram 30 (with line 1 moving) Nurture, Reliance, Shining

Fire above Fire. Fire indicates our intimate connections with each other and thus our dependence on one another. Fire depends on fuel for it's extistence, in order to shine out be brilliant and flamboyant the fire must cling closely to it's source of energy. Plants and trees depend on the sun and soil. What do you depend on for your strength? When you know what this is, nurture it and you will shine in your brilliance.

Line 1 moving states~Shine Your Golden Shoes. You are joining in somthing for the first time, first steps tend to be awkward and impulsive; be willing to adapt and be sensitive. You may have a meaningful encounter with a remarkable person.

Otherwise it wasnt very helpful an answer haha..
I was with the end part until it said "You may have a meaningful encounter with a remarkable person", that makes me think I should hold out.

I dunno...in the end I think how you interpret it is all up to you. I admit I thought it was odd you ended up with the same hexagram twice. I mean your chances of that happening are 1 in 64. Maybe there really is a message in that?
