So annoying... failed attempts at investigations...
#21
I went out on what looked like a really fanatastic Investigation. It was at a local firestation, which was built on top of an old monastry chapel and graveyard.
One of the fire station watches ( its what they call their shifts) had had some very odd experiences, with objects been thrown, shadowy apparitions and unusual noises.
We duly arrived, and that was about as organised as the evening got!!
The "sensitive: side of the group, went on some mad rampage, chasing various assorted spirits, none of the gear was set up & no base readings done, It took about an hour to get them back under control, another hour to set up the cameras ( constant interuptions as they all ran off again, and again and again, argued about where to put the cameras, and moved stuff about.) By this time the firecrew had eaten their tea, and they descended on us to "watch us do our stuff".
It was just awful, so frustrating as the location had so much potential. I spent the evening watching monitors, as I could not get the team to organise anything else, trying to explain to the firecrew what was going on, which was impossible as I had no idea what the other group members were doing. They kept no notes, did no meter work, and no EVP work FrownFrown That evening drove me DribbleCrybaby

I would not do another investigation with those people.
It seems by what you wrote, It was a waste of your time and the fire crews time, as well as made your group look unprofessional, which is a direct reflection on your abilities as an investigator. (IMO)

I wish you luck in further attempts. Icontexto-emoticons-04-032x032

I think the excitement got the better of everybody, there had been so much activity at the location it got us all worked up.
I did leave the group, not because of this investigation, but lets say we had "Paranormal differences"Icontexto-emoticons-04-032x032
Im working with another group now, and its looking very promising. We are honing our investigation skills before we descend on the general public, to make sure we look totally professional.
