it would have been interesting to know what they said, but i have no credit cards and have tried to do this before. why does everybody want you to have credit cards? i don't believe in them because they cause most of our debt. i have seen people over step their means with them.

Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

yes i think so. i went to the page where you write your question and they send you a email to call a number with a code number. then they explain you need a credit card to verify info. or is that the wrong page?

trolldoll1681,

I was forced to file bankruptcy several years ago. Now I am once again getting more offers in the mail to open an account. Wellll, I don't think so. I was a single parent for the last several years my children lived with me. I was working like a dog, and took a risk on two credit cards to keep my oldest son in college, and to keep my youngest out of jail.

I'm not really sure how much of my debt was for mechandise and how much was from interest. They do want to keep you in debt. You would be just one of multiple millions of small "banks" that the credit card companies just keep making withdrawals on..., until you stop breathing.

In the past there was something called servitude (not sure of the spelling). Families would borrow money from some land owner or other person. In exchange, the families effectively sold their children into a form of limited slavery. The children were free to leave after a predetermined amount of time, usually measured in years, maybe decades?. Frown All I can say is Thank God that I am not someone's property..., that still isn't necessarily true in some countries!
Forgiveness is next to deity.
