I've been around a lot of solitaries and only 2-3 small covens. Those covens really weren't well established or very mature honestly. Most disbanded within 2-3 years due to infighting so I think my personal experience is limited.

Choosing pantheons usually is a personal experience of the individual or the coven. My coven generally leans towards the greek/roman because we work in a group. Now in my solitary practice I work with Egyptian and Greek (not together mind you)

Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,
For I would ride with you upon the wind,
Run on the top of the dishevelled tide,
And dance upon the mountains like a flame.
(William Butler Yeats, "The Land of Heart's Desire," 1894)

My qualifications LOL are that I am a second degree Wiccan High Priestess in a coven (which means I have studied my butt off and have been initiated through a coven degree system). I am also teaching a Wicca 101 course to students seeking the Wiccan path. I am also a Hand Maiden which means I am the one who takes over the coven when the High Priestess decides to step down. I practice magick also tho I do not teach magick to those seeking. I will answer questions on it, but when you teach...you become responsible.

So ask away if you have any questons ask away Smile

Does the word/name Ghia mean anything to you please

Hell of a way to bump a 6 year old thread to answer someone who isn't here any longer.
