How To Get Rid Of Demons!
Wow this is nice! I totally agree with you. I come from a religious family but I'm not that extreme. I believe that what you did was true. If you believe and have faith in god then I know he will help and protect you. I truly believe prayers will help vanish evil and demonic spirits away.
"When the skies are looking bad my dear
And your heart's lost all its hope
After dawn there will be sunshine
And all the dust will go
The skies will clear my darling
I'll wake up with the one I love the most
And in the morning, I'll make you up
Some tea and toast."

Glad to hear about "faith" as it works for you, but not everyone is as apparently "blessed" as you. Seems the Catholic Church, ie; the Holy Office" or the "Inquisition", as its direct service branch, apparently found prayers do work, hundreds of years ago, so if prayers, and some other minor stuff, worked for them, it seems that prayers will do the job, as you have stated. Thanks you for your citing the intervention of God in your situations, so all that believe will always be under His protection.
Look, I can appreciate you saying you have a problem, I have a problem also. I have not had my coffee yet and I am not empathetic, as a psychologist needs to be, so until I have had my coffee, you're going to have to deal with your problem as best you can, and no, holding a gun to your head will not make me change my mind!!Icontexto-emoticons-14-032x032

We have lived with some, that came to seem like a part of our family. And, have been missed when they're no longer with us. So, I have never felt the need to try to get rid of them. Demons on the other hand, are threatening and terrifying and need to be sent back where they belong!

This is an excellent forum, full of very interesting stories, ideas and beliefs. I want to thank the admin for their time and effort in providing such a great place to discuss all the supernatural things happening in the world around us. Even if you don't believe, or have never experienced things like what is talked about here, you have to admit the possibilities are endless and very interesting!

I'm posting this because, while no one has all the answers, I've seen too many posts of people asking for help from terrifying situations and not really receiving a solid answer in many cases. People sometimes arrive at this forum when they've searched and searched for help and have not been able to find any solutions any where else.

And, while I am not claiming to have all the answers, I just know that I've dealt with some pretty evil things in my life and have had to get rid of them and this has worked for me. Unless you've lived with evil and felt scared in your own home, you can't know how bad it can be.

I'm also not promising this will work for everyone, but it works for me! And, if this helps just one person, it's worth it.

So, laugh, joke, ridicule, make fun, call me crazy --- I don't care! Many people already think we're crazy because we claim to have seen spirits, ghosts and demons. So, explaining how we get rid of them isn't any crazier!

First of all, I don't believe that everyone has the power to cleanse a house or anything else. And, I'm also not claiming to have some mysterious power, I believe in a power that has power over demons! Second of all, I think you have to believe in a higher power for this to work, in my case I believe in God. I don't necessarily think you have to believe in the traditional God. You may have another name for the higher power you believe in, that's fine as long as you believe your higher power has more power than demons.

I was raised in a church that used olive oil. It was prayed over by members of the church, asking God to anoint it with his power. It was used to anoint cloths for healing, for the laying on of hands for healing and problems etc. Again, let me stress that I don't care if you believe or not, someone out there needing help will believe!

So, naturally I use olive oil. Some people I know use salt and other things. I don't really think it matters what you use, as long as you believe your higher power can do what you're asking. I look at olive oil and salt as a tool.

I think it's the physical thing for a person to use that makes them feel like they've actually done something physical to get rid of demons. I don't think the God I believe in needs olive oil to banish demons back to the pits of hell. The olive oil, salt or what ever someone uses is for their benefit. I wouldn't be surprised if plain tap water worked just as well!

NO, I'm not overly religious, in fact I've not been to church in probably 15 years. But, that has no effect on the fact that I still believe that God can do anything and has more power than anything in the world, both the physical world and the supernatural world.

I recently had to remove a evil spirit, or demon from my daughter's apartment and this is what I did.............

I got a small jar and poured some olive oil into it. I wrapped my hands around it and prayed over it. I asked God to anoint it with his power, I told him that I didn't know what this thing was sent to do, but I knew he could protect my daughter and grand-daughter and cast it out of their home and back to the pits of hell where it belonged!

I then went upstairs and started anointing the windows and doors with the olive oil, praying and asking God to do the same thing I did when I poured the olive oil into the jar. Some people use tools, a feather or some other type of item, I use my fingers. I also recommend that you start with the windows and as you leave the room, spread some oil at the doorway.

As you go through each room, keep praying for God to bind the demon, remove it from the home, cast it back to hell, plead the blood of Jesus over the home, ask for his protection. Whatever you pray is up to you, just believe it and trust it will be done. I also like to thank him as I go for doing this for me!

I just get some of the olive oil on my finger and make a line around each window, a line that I believe the demon can not cross! The oil at the doorway, is my way of keeping it from re-entering the room. I prefer to make a solid line of oil around the entire window and door, but usually I just make a line at all 4 sides and it's still got rid of what ever I was trying to get rid of.

As I came down the stairs I spread some olive oil on the bottom of the stairway, I believe this keeps the demon from going back up the steps. Then I started in the back of the apartment in the living room doing the same thing and worked my way through the hallway, the kitchen and finally to the front door.

There wasn't a big commotion, no snarling, screaming, or signs of a demon, no noise at all in fact. It all went peacefully and calmly. This may not always be the case, I think it depends on how strong the entity is and how bad he wants to remain in your home to do his evil deeds. But, this demon that had scared the life out of my daughter and a full grown Golden Retriever (story in another post) never appeared again!

Like I said, call me crazy, I really don't care, if being crazy has allowed me to run terrifying and dangerous demons out of my house and the home of my child, I love being crazy!

Just make sure that you do all the windows in each room and start upstairs if you have an upstairs. I believe that the oil around the windows keeps the demon from escaping, the oil at the door keeps it from re-entering the room. As you get to the last room and the last way out, I believe the demon goes out that door. Once you spread oil around that door, it can not come back through it.

NOW this is not to say, that at a later time another demon might not enter the same home. Even though you've done this, a demon can still enter IF you've brought them in or invited them in. Read my other thread about Sudden Hauntings From Traveling Spirits and Demons.

If one comes in on something you bring into the home, or on someone you've invited into your home, you've literally unknowingly gave them permission to enter!

This is the same method I've used to get rid of some pretty nasty things over the years. Like I said, it may or may not work for you, but if you're being tormented, what can it hurt to try??

A demon can attach to people, or even in people, and when you invite them in the demon is a part of the package, so if it wants to stay it can. blessed holy water works best with it make a cross over each door way, and on each window, but b careful if someone in the house is affected by the neg energy of a demon within 3 days you could see a violent, or aggressive attitude with that person just bless them also.

Really interesting stuff. Glad to hear that there's a degree of open-mindedness regarding personal beliefs. I have to wholeheartedly agree that it is about the strength of belief in what you are doing rather than a belief in any specific doctrine.

Well, you say right off the bat in your OP that you "don't care" if we believe in God or not, because you are 100% certain that you method works for eradicating the entities your happen to refer to as Demons, or Evil Spirits.

So...I am not sure how to address that. Or if, by the same token, I should. Since you seem rigid in your beliefs and ergo disinterested in any opposing viewpoints.

But I nonetheless feel compelled to retort. Because, hell, that's how I roll.

Your olive oil cure; or claim that anything can be used as a vehicle to dispel the Demon--as long as one believes in God--is useless against any sort of full-fledged Demon.

(Well, except for maybe a low-level Yellow Smudge. But then, only maybe, and then only if the person using it also incorporated the methods for Demonic Eradication that I have outlined in previous posts.)

A High Level "Crimson Cursor" type demon would be totally unaffected by your methods. And in fact, would "Feed" off of them and thus get stronger.

You never addressed the basic problem, or reason for Demonic Presence in the first place. ANd that is, that somehow, some way, the Demon was invited into the dwelling. Or at least thought he was.

(I use the personal pronoun here only for the sake of grammmatical clarity and brevity; as these entities are of course sexless. Or "androgynous" if you prefer.)

May I ask how you knew you daughter's apartment was "haunted" in the first place? What were the signs and symptoms that lead you and her to believe this?

Did you ever ask her of she in some way dabbled into any sort of Dark Art? This could be something seemingly whimsical on the surface. Something as mundane as enjoying a horror movie with a demonic presence in it. This sort of thing serves as a "portal" or energy conduit for the demonic energy to infiltrate.

But I won't elaborate on this anymore here, as it is highly doubtful you believe.

I DO commend you attempt to help others, however. I also attempt the same on this Forum. You will find that folks who do this are very often chastised. But I reckon that is our cross to bear. (see what I did there?) LOL.

Peace.

So I would really like to try what you have suggested.. I have not had anything happen in my current house but I definitely got contacted by spirits when I enter a place where they reside, one place that this happens to me, is at my sister's house and her and her family are affected by it too. I'm going to send her the link to this page so she can do what you have suggested.

I know that you said that you should start from upstairs and work your way down and the demon will leave through the last door downstairs but in my house, that isn't possible. I do have an upstairs but the downstairs is the basement and there isn't a basement door. There is the back door at the top of the stairs that leads to the basement. Should I start upstairs, work my way down and then cast it out of the back door? Also, I have an attic that I can't get to because the opening is above the basement and we don't currently have a ladder in order to access it. I'm not sure what to do about that! Please help! If you need more information, please let me know! Thank you so much!

Also, my sister has already asked a friend to bless her house and at first it seemed to work but now the demon or ghost or whatever, is worse than before. I don't want her to try this and make things worse! She has a two and half old son that is already affected and a new baby on the way! Sad

Exploration and study of the human mind is ongoing, yet still in its infancy. The human mind is broken down into sectors and we have ideas what the basics are for each section.

Sounds: We now know that sound waves are pitched so low that the human ear can't hear them. But some experiments have shown that they can be perceived in some subconscious way and cause feelings of nervousness and sensed presences. In one recorded case, a fan in an apparently haunted house was found to be producing a low frequency sound wave. After the fan was fixed, the experiences of haunting disappeared.

Chemicals in your brain: As far as brain chemistry goes, they correlate with some chemical changes like increase in a hormone called CRF. Remarkably, there's also a well established link to slight alterations in global geomagnetic activity. The association has been reported since the 1930s, and increased geomagnetic activity can even be used, quite accurately as a predictor of sleep disruption and paranormal experiences. Unsurprisingly perhaps, there is also an increase in the incidence of epileptic seizures. The shifts in magnetic field strength may decrease night time levels of a sleep hormone called melatonin, and increase CRF, all of which may help set the stage for seizures or paranormal experiences in people with sensitive temporal lobes. Some researchers have measured unusually strong or fluctuating magnetic fields in places that are said to be haunted, and this has been proposed as a rational explanation for ghosts.

So overall, the neuropsychologists seem to think that the temporal lobe of the brain is a key player in paranormal experiences. Even if you're not epileptic, the more sensitive your temporal lobe is, the more likely you are to experience the paranormal.

Demons or your brain: An individual who appears to be possessed and claims to be a demon may be viewed as suffering from a delusion of grandeur. Family members and friends caring for possessed individuals can become extremely disturbed by the state in which the individuals present themselves and often request an exorcism as a last resort. One might think of this as an example of Folie à Deux, in which one individual develops a delusion while in a close relationship with another person who already has an established delusion; the delusion is of the same content for each individual. It is possible that the possessed individual initially suffers from a delusion and eventually convinces loved ones that the possession is real.

Schizophrenia, or any form of psychosis, is currently thought to be the result of a malfunctioning dopaminergic system, either a system which is too active or a system which is too sensitive. The dopamine system has been implicated in movement and coordination, emotional response, and the ability to experience pleasure and pain. It would then seem quite likely that many purported cases of demonic possession are merely instances of dopamine systems failing to work properly, given the aforementioned abnormal motor and affect behavior. It also seems quite plausible that individuals who believe themselves to be possessed are in a state of severe ahedonia.

Multiple Personality Disorder: Another disorder which has frequently been misdiagnosed as demonic possession is dissociative identity disorder, formerly known as multiple personality disorder. The criteria for this disorder is the presence of two or more distinct identities or personality states, each with its own way of perceiving, relating to, and thinking about the environment and the self; at least two of these personalities or identities recurrently take control of the individual's behavior; and an inability to recall important personal information that is too extensive to be dismissed as ordinary forgetfulness. The separate identities involved in this disorder and the physical changes that denote dissociation could certainly reflect the abrupt change in personality manifested by those who appear to be victims of demonic possession.

Here are some supposed examples of demonic attack or demonic influence.

(This is from a demonologist web site)

Thinking thoughts which are “not like you” or which “seem to come from somewhere else” or which “come out of the blue”.

* Sudden depression. Sometimes the depression is severe, sometimes it is very subtle.
* Feeling like suicide, like life is not worth living or wondering why you are here.
* Having severe arguments with your spouse or friends.
* Feeling like someone or something else is controlling you. You may feel controlled all the time or only some of the time.
* Feeling like someone or something is pressuring you to do certain acts.
* Hearing one or multiple voices in your head that are negative, persuasive, or commanding you to do something. For example, hearing a voice persuade you that a certain friend should be avoided, or asking you to let them “in” to your life in some way.
* Deep personality changes. For example, someone stays at home all the time when they used to be very gregarious.
* Creepy feelings.
* An area of your house or your neighborhood which feels negative or oppressive.
* Feeling attacked when others do not see or experience anything. Sometimes this feeling of being attacked may come with physical pain that is medically inexplicable. Usually it will come with psychological pain of some sort - terror or anguish for example.
* Feelings of hopelessness.
____________________________________________________________________

Schizophrenia: There are several types of schizophrenia, so signs and symptoms vary. In general, schizophrenia symptoms include:

* Beliefs not based on reality (delusions), such as the belief that there's a conspiracy against you
* Seeing or hearing things that don't exist (hallucinations), especially voices
* Incoherent speech
* Neglect of personal hygiene
* Lack of emotions
* Emotions inappropriate to the situation
* Angry outbursts
* Catatonic behavior
* A persistent feeling of being watched
* Trouble functioning at school and work
* Social isolation
* Clumsy, uncoordinated movements

Epilepsy and the Paranormal

A type of epileptic fit called a complex partial seizure occurs as a result of abnormal electrical activity in a brain region called the temporal lobe. It's been known for decades that people who suffer from this type of epilepsy also report paranormal experiences more frequently than most

window.google_render_ad(); Modern researchers have discovered that there are correlations between these century old results and the circadian distribution of reports of sensed presences. So overall, the neuropsychologists seem to think that the temporal lobe of the brain is a key player in paranormal experiences. Even if you're not epileptic, the more sensitive your temporal lobe is, the more likely you are to experience the paranormal. If you've got a lot of electrical activity going on in a part of the temporal lobe called the amygdale, then you're most likely to infuse sensory experience with enhanced meaning.
Geomagnetism and the Paranormal

Bereavement apparitions tend to occur as a disruption to dream sleep about 3 days after the death of a loved one. As far as brain chemistry goes, they correlate with some chemical changes like increase in a hormone called CRF (corticotrophin releasing factor.).

Thank you for the reminder to stay "sober" in all of this, but I still believe. Raised that way and its hard to shake it.
