Fakes and Hoaxes
I haven't seen a thread like this, so I thought I'd start one.  Everyone knows you can't trust everything you see on the internet, but sometimes it's difficult to know what is fake and what is real.  If you know of any story or video or photo that has been thoroughly debunked, post it here.

This one had me fooled for a couple of months... The Story of Lisa.  The author/illustrator, Sunny Schreiner, confessed on her blog, saying she randomly noticed a preschool notebook and bought it on a whim, wondering what would be the creepiest thing she could do with it.  A friend convinced her to upload it to a paranormal website and it went viral.  That was back when she was 19.  She 'came out' so people would stop posting her pictures under false pretences.  Since then, people have wanted to believe so badly that she has been accused of stealing the notebook from a preschooler.  She has one posting of Lisa on OcularFracture with the caption 'I wish I never made this piece of garbage.'

You can find her on Facebook under the name Leviviridae - Sunny Schreiner

If you see it on YouTube, it's 99% chance of being fake.

Though, I've seen some videos that actually have made me watch it repeatedly with interest and questions that will never been answered. That's the 1%.
