Are these marks from a demon?
#1
I am being haunted by something negative...The attack happened recently, in fact it happened in the middle of the week...at 3 am...I was up doing the dishes (insomniac) and I felt a burning on my neck and chest...It didn't feel like my clothes were itching me, because I had on just a simple t shirt and pajama pants...I went into the bathroom and noticed I had three claw marks on my chest, and they were pretty red. I did not touch or scratch my neck while doing the dishes, and I do not have long fingernails because I have a bad habit of biting them...I decided to take some pictures because I wanted to show my family...but when I was taking pictures I noticed another mark on my neck, and it was the sign of the cross...It is very light, but it is definitely a cross that is right side up, which is weird...I can not seem to find the meaning for it, all I can find is the meaning for a cross that is facing the other way (mocking of the trinity)...what does this mean if you are marked twice with two different scratches? Also, I have been hearing weird "scratching" like noises located in my room at night...but it only happens at certain times...it spooks the hell out of me because I know it can't be a raccoon (the scratching noises sound big) because we blocked the entrances to our house last summer.

Actually an upside down cross is the Coss of Saint Peter. Peter was crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to be crucified in the same manner that Jesus died.

Anyhow, before you go the paranormal route...
You could have had an allergic reaction to something.
I would also recommend calling an exterminator because it could very well be a critter of some sort. You apparently had entrances at one point so just because it "sounds big" doesn't mean it is. The sound could just sound big especially if the house is quiet.

Can you post the photos?

In what part of the world do you live?

Non-believer: It's just a cat.

Skeptic: I can test if black cats are more or less lucky than another cat.
Cynic: You only have a black cat to gain power and prestige.

I'm not religious, so this is new and helpful to me. My cross is right side up.

That's true. But the feeling I got with the scratches made me think it was something else... I felt violated...but, I'll try and see if we can get someone to check out the floorboards, etc...

I'll see what I can do. I wasn't sure to how to post the link.

I know certain groups have used upside down crosses "satanists", punk rockers and most of all Hollywood.

What were you doing earlier that night/afternoon?

I was at home hanging out with my cousin. We were watching TV, and we were talking about the paranormal. I told her about some things that happened to me before. Other than that, nothing. I'm a hermit that usually stays at home and doesn't party with other people. And for the record, I am not religious or a Satanist. I've tried following different religions when I was younger, but it never stuck. Now I follow my own path.

I wasn't able to edit my post, so I'll share the photos here...

Check the area where you live to find if blister beetles are in the area. This is only one insect that can cause an inflamed area on your skin, and I don't know if it is actually what caused what you are described, but it is one possibility.
