A few times I have woken a man staring at me as I sleep. He stands next to my bed his body is straight he stares down at me with light-colored eyes. Bodies painted because it reflected light and everything below his nose was black and everything about that was white. Does anyone know who this might be?

Whatever it is, ghost, hallucination or entity, the best way to get rid of it is to ignore it and keep calm, then he`ll just end up vanishing or going to look for someone else to stare at.

If your religious start saying the Lords Prayer, or you can ask it to please leave in the name of God. You could also Smudge the house with Sage as well too.

I have had them come into my room before but this is the first one to just sand and stare down at me. It wakes me up every time. I have smudged and asked him to stop staring at me, that helped, but I have just been curious as to who he was.

He might be a lot of things. but rarely something useful to get interested in, if you want to interact with etheric beings better choose the right ones, spirits of Nature, elementaries, djinn, but not dark figures staring at people, those have nothing to teach, the interesting ones are sometimes very scary, but at least they have valuable things in return for our fear.

The most logical answer is you are experiencing a hypnogagic/hypnopompic hallucination.

I always take the post at face value, and being that we are a Paranormal Board I make the logic assumption that what is being described as being something Paranormal. That being said, the vision of someone watching you at night could be any number of things. I would always advise doing a Smudging.

See I have a similar problem, except when I did research, shadow people fit my exact description. I'm not entirely sure what your problem could be, I was lucky enough to have found a likely answer through research. The first thing you should do, and what I also did first, is try to rule out any psychological problems that may be causing you to hallucinate, including psychosis, if it's not that, do some more research. Good luck
