Make your haunted location stand out
#11
Here is the problem once again. These sites charge you to investigate. They make up a story usually of a murder or murders. Then your wonderful paranormal teams pay to play and capture the dead persons ghost. Of course the hosts were finally caught faking evidence, playing recordings, banging, talking in vent pipes, even faking shadow people. Once they were busted .... it only took a short time for paranormal teams to forget the deceit and start paying all over again.

Then we have a bar that the owners claim is haunted and they often experience paranormal. The fact they use electronics through out the place so they can show apparitions, and have the womens bathroom rigged on a switch to play voices. So if they capture paranormal evidence why fake it?

Now I could care less about the guy setting up the fx's its those willing to fake and charge you i have an issue with. it just makes the paranormal circus look that much more like a bunch of idiots.

Its been shown in the paranormal circle its ok to fake, you can use an app picture and if caught you actually end up with more LIKE followers.

I also will not give names of the places as I will not advertise for them.

Fraud is fraud. How can you be against owners or investigators who use fraud to profit yet have no issue with a guy who profits by using special effects for hoaxes?

Another wild claim? What paranormal circles is ok to openly use deceit which not only results in no condemnation, but actually gains trust?

Then what's to stop anyone from making up tall tales about people or places if they can just deflect by saying I don't want to advertise? The burden of proof lies on whoever is making the claim.
