Great movie, even better book. Just finished reading it.

True stories in the book.

Another paranormal fraud trying to cash in on the popularity of paranormal. Oh wait we have a movie deal and television. Should we read the reviews? Based on a true story? Just like so many of the fraud movies.

Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

The book is known for being fraudulent.

See I don't know about that, meaning the book being fraudulent.

I live in Connecticut and in the late 80s went to a lecture by Loraine and Ed Warren at a highschool auditorium in Bristol, CT. The lecture included the actual couple the movie A HAUNTING IN CT was based on and even though the actual events had happened years ago the mother was crying hysterically at this event which surprised me greatly. She definitely had PTSD.

I went to other lectures they hosted, they hail from Monroe CT but had some lectures at other locations in the State. And I never sensed that they were frauds in any way.

I had many personal questions that were on my mind. And I found her advise to be very helpful.

Loraine and Ed Warren were integral to many cases in the book DELIVER US FROM EVIL. And I could see where all the connections were from. The Paranormal Research Society they were involved with was basically the same group of people around in late 80s.

Ed and Lorraine the biggest hoaxers out there. Try doing a little research and you will find the paranormal full of made up stories and outright frauds who use it to gain money and fame.

Whether it was 100% true or not, I loved this movie. There is a lot of truth to it.

You cannot discern truth from hoaxers. You do not know what you are talking about.
