My experiences with Wicca and Santeria
#1
I had a three and a half years relationship with an owner of a Botanica.

During that time period I studied Santeria.

I had a reading by a Babalowo that discerned the ruler of my head was Yemaya and that my father spirit was Ogun.

I am not Spanish so I was not able to read some of the books that were written by Cuban authors so much of the reading material was limited because there are very few books in English.

I found Santeria to be very full filling to me and simultaneously I was a Wiccan High Priestess in my ex husbands coven.

I am pagan to this day, though now my interests are working with the Medicine Buddah and Eastern religions, I had a profound dream where I visited the Himalaya and was treated to being at a house party where delicious fruit deserts were served. Down in the furnished basement was a Stupa cabinet filled with different kinds of tea, and a ballet bar and mirror where a lovely extremely beautiful green woman with green eyes and ornate costume much like a belly dancer appeared dancing.

After this dream I became a devote of The Green Tara.

So I have had many different experiences in paganiam.

I also am fascinated by Brujeria and Mexican paths. And have read all of Carlos Castaneda's books.

It's crazy to think that one with an extremely high title can just stop being that at a whim.

Did you leave because you divorced the husband? Did the make you leave for breaking the union? Did the other members turn against you?

Yeah we got divorced. He stopped practicing. I gave up the Santeria and Wiccan interests and became more interested in Buddhism.
