Media Propaganda
Lately I have observed a palpable tension in the air which I believe is not only caused by events taking place but the way the Media chooses to spin a story. It doesn't seem that way, it is that way. The media only reports what it wants and does not rely solely on the truth for publication.
To me at least, I see an agena being played out by the powers that be. I also see two presidential candidates who aren't fit to run the United States. Am I off base to sense impending martial law in the near future? I believe the media has an agenda to start a race war in our country as well as take away our right to bear arms. I do not believe there is any other way to take that freedom from citizens other than to declare martial law. Also, if it is declared this year there will be no new president. This may not seem plausible to some and maybe it won't happen and for that I would be glad. Although, it seems inevitable that a terrible event will take place soon in our country. I pray not. I think the more communication the better, we should not be afraid to say the way we feel or what we see going on in the world.

I feel the message in this video loud and clear even though it is from a movie it rings true many years later.

Didn't watch the video. Internet at my house is too slow to watch reliably. Won't say who my internet provider is but the initials are H_____ N__.

I don't think there will be martial law any time soon as I don't think the current president or either of the two main candidates would have the support of the military, and that's what they'd have to have. Race war? Not full scale but look at it this way. If Trump is elected he will support the police and the BLM movement and others will be upset. If Hillary is elected she will support the BLM movement and the police unions will be upset. Let's home someone will come foreward to negotiate the middle ground.

Does the media have an agenda? I just within a few minutes commented to my wife that they have played the comments made by the parents of the late soldier against Trump at the Democrat Convention pretty much in entirety every day on the news since it happened maybe a week ago. They pretty much never do that for anyone. On the other hand they barely mention Hillary and the e-mail investigation. Please understand I don't support Trump or Hillary and I'm not saying this to take sides.

1984 is closer than you think.

Your edit is double unplus good. We are at war with Eurasia not Oceania.

And 1984 isnt close at hand neither is Animal Farm, or A Brave New World or Idiocrasy, it is. We live in a world with big brother watching everything, he has for most my life. And certainly some animals are more equal than others we see this in the gaps between rich and poor. Magazines show Alphas-Plus individuals, let alone a Beta, buts lets all breath some more soma to silence our inner Savage.

RE: Media Propaganda
I hear ya Dark on the Internet service, I used to have a terrible provider. My Internet would constantly be down as well as my land line. I finally had to part ways lol. Sometimes I think I am over-thinking the current affairs but I also see the craziness that is the Media and I am honestly tired of watching all the struggle. I can't support Hillary or Trump either. This election makes me sad for our country.

RE: Media Propaganda
I am reminded that totalitarian governments routinely have elections that sometimes report 100% voter registration, 100% voter turnout, and that the glorious leader was reelected with 100% of the vote. I probably need to look to see if there was an opposition candidate at all, but I get the feeling that our own system is slowly turning into the same kind of sham.

RE: Media Propaganda
I think the system has gone down the drain and has been for a long time. I think with technology advancing we are all just more aware of whats going on. When it comes to what the media reports I usually do some research and usually there's always something they're not telling us or they make up things when they don't have proof. I just love it when they take one snippet of what someone has said and cut out the rest of the dialogue and run with it! Smh
