I doubt it's the Grandmother, the dog is too scared. You invited something else in the house. Did you try to contact your Grandmother using a Ouija Board?

Or maybe the dog is sick or in pain!

She needs to take the poor dog to a vet.

Tygra already said that the dog was healthy.

So she said. But she never said she took the dog to the vet following the strange behavior. One would think that if people were suggesting a trip to the vet and she had already done that she would have mentioned it.

Anywho, this post is about a year old I doubt the OP will reply.

Dogs love sticks. They chase them and play with them. One day someone hits them with a stick, now they are terrified of them. It's how a primitive mind works.

So your dog loved the fan. Maybe it fell on it. Maybe it got its fur caught in it. Who knows?

If it's really that bad I also say go to the vet. Jumping to conclusions that it's seeing ghosts is like the animal equivalent of not getting your kids vaccinated.

I would recommend just cheking if there is anything going on with the dog and if there are certain noises that lots of the time can make animals a little anxious, Otherwise if everything is fine and nothing that should make them anxious then I'd think about just starting to dwell in to searching the paranormal side of things after of course going through all scientific ones

If she is fine and been checked like everyone is suggesting then I would say it is possible. If animals have senses different then ours in so many ways who is to say what they can and can not hear or see. Can we physically ask a dog what it sees no, but if you think it is a possibility it is something you should look into. I have seen dogs that I think can tell things we can't from personal experiences, but if the dog is scared you should try and get rid of what scares it whether it is paranormal or not.
