What do you believe is the difference between the Chupacabra and the Mothman?

Hello' to All:

Do you believe that these creatures are from the same place or have the same genetic structure?

And what do you believe their purpose is here on Earth?

From what I understand, there are all kinds of creatures and various beings that have been co-inhabiting on our planet with us since even before our time. This is much their planet as it is ours, even though they are rarely seen. But then again, some of the are extra-terrestrial as well.

Thank you for your input, my friend.

Lets see they are both imaginary, but one is used as a tourist attraction and the other seems to have come from a fiction movie Species.. But they both come from misperceptions, just look at all the bald coyotes listed as LaChupacabra, packs of stray dogs to insects are behind so many of the alledged attacks.
The chupacabra seems to have been born in 1995. The mothman in 1966
Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

Firstly, we all share a similar genetic structure that is of our planet so it's just how far of the same genetics are we talking about here?

Secondly, there's only a handful of valid claims on said creatures. Sure, there are creatures of the unknown that we know nothing about but lets see if these two share any consistencies.

Mothman:

Originated from Point Pleasant of West Virginia and claims of attacks on car roofs to the destruction of Silver Bridge that contributed to 46 deaths. Only 2 bodies were never recovered. Most of the visual recounts are said to center in on a military instillation nearby. There has been various books and a movie that has caused a lot of disinformation to be mixed in with claims. Difficult to differentiate.

Chupacabra:

Originating from Puerto Rico, goats and sheep are reported to have been bled dry. There also has been a report that a creature that bleeds animal dry attacked a town and killed a few hundred animals. Over than last half century, most of the reports have been verified as coyotes, or other canine animals affected with mange which is similar to the reports of Chups in PR.

The quick summaries goes to show that they are two different creatures. Going as far as sharing genetics is a bit insignificant as we should be learning about these creatures and how to defend against them rather than attempting to connect ancestry by dna.

I don't think there's an underlying purpose for these creatures. It seems they react to feeding and fear of the unknown themselves. Very instinctual. They both are most likely dead now since we don't have anymore legitimate sightings.

I don't think these creatures really have anything to do with each other than they are cryptids
