Really? That's interesting. If this oldest form of Wicca does not believe in other planes of existence, then where do the entities and spirit forms that they interact with reside? In their plane?

Gardnerian belief is that the deities and entities reside in nature, in the material world. Any way that's how I understood it, although I didn't spend much time studying that branch as it didn't appeal to me.

How old is Gardenian Wicca?

Subject: I have a black cat.
Believer: Black cats are bad luck.
Non-believer: It's just a cat.
Crackpot: Black cats are part of the New World Order government conspiracy.
Skeptic: I can test if black cats are more or less lucky than another cat.
Cynic: You only have a black cat to gain power and prestige.

Gardnerian Wicca is only 70-80 years old. If you have the time and are interested you should do some reading on Gerald Gardner, "The Father of Modern Wicca", even though he referred to it as Witch Cult and not wicca, there is plenty of information on him online and it is really interesting how his off-shoot came about as there is quite a bit of speculation over his teachings and the sources they came from as well as his motives for it.
