Candles attract Demons
wow...I'm sooooo glad our horses don't wear horseshoes!!!!

What a horror that would be....2 demon possessed horses....and one weighs 2,200 lbs......

I would hope that demons are not in candles... I just lit one for meditation... It would be very hard to meditate with a demon bitting my ear. Although something did come into my room where I was but it looked like my little demon son so... I don't think that counts.

I am a Christian and I have never heard that candles attract demons.Candles symbolically mean the light through darkness and respect to our loved ones that passed away.
In many rituals that are used to call demons or spirits there is a candle present that is used like something that should show show something just like Ouija and other different things.
And about this that everybody has some sort of spirits..there has been a thread about that if I was remember well..It is also from Christian church. There are bad spirits(some sorts of music, spirit of fear, illness and many many other things)Everything that is wrong you call it the spirit of the thing that is bad.I already put an example here. And also you have a good spirits that are used to protect ourselves or to show a gift from God(spirit of prophecy, spirit of knowing, spirit of healing, speaking in tongues, etc)
And they can force the bad spirits to come out and leave you or to ask a God to be blessed by good spirits.

Candles and Incense attract demons.
Candles can also be a "host".

If you have severe stomach pains or a stomach virus, break the power of the curse of burning incense. You may have been around someone burning incense or someone may have been burning incense on your behalf.

Other things that cause demons, drinking, smoking cigarettes, playing cards even childrens games.

Even more that will bring demons into your life.

Some accursed objects are: owls, frogs, unicorns, dolphins, dragons, horseshoes; items from other countries such as Africa, China, Japan; American Indian artifacts, carvings, pictures, buddha statutes. Dolls and stuffed animals - dolls originated in voodoo. Paisley pattern on anything. Nike is a Greek god, according to the dictionary.

Collections, Pictures of movie stars, some items passed down from ancestors, Shamrocks, Any kind of good luck charm, Statues, Oriental objects, African items, Indian items, American Indian items, Any items that are used in witchcraft, The Book of Mormon, satanic bible, Books on other religions, Rock and roll music, etc.

So rid your home and heart of these things that attract demons.

Now I found this and to me this is really out there. But I thought maybe some of you that believe in God could give your opinions. Is thsi what you need to do?

Are you trying to provoke someone specifically, or just anyone that will bite? That is a real whopper of a fish tale. Oh, what about refridgerators and bathtubs and toilettes? Oh, I almost forgot, what about beds and pillows?..., and air conditioners and furnaces?..., and cars and airplanes and highways and streets and bicycles, and ice cream and on and on? I almost forgot, what about homes? As for candles, I find them very relaxing, but I'd never sleep with one still burning. Blueoh

Nice post! I sincerely apologize if I've offended anyone.

Jeff, this post was done to show how truly outrageous some groups or beliefs or people are.
Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

Although I personally think it's rediculous to blame candles or incense or anything else of this sort for attracting demons, I wouldn't ever violate a persons right to believe as they wish. It's actually one of the reasons I have studied religion in depth, so that I can minister to all faiths in line with thier belief systems, not just my own. If one were to claim an issue with demonic forces, it wouldn't be helpful to attempt to provide service or council to a family and use a method which the family feels would put them at further risk. It would only continue the fear process.
Well add myself to the 'i don't believe this' list.....

I love candles and i enjoy burning incense once in a while (only this one kind 'french vanilla')...

"A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." -Coco Chanel...

I don't believe that nonsense, I've burned candles in the past both scented & unscented. There both just for looks & smells.. People will do anything just to scare other people into not using certain things or doing certain things.. And as far as being short tempered it has nothing to do with demons.. some people are more patient then others. And having a mental illness also has nothing to do with demons, it's genetic passed through from generation to generation.

Such sillyness.

I read the entire thread. Thx for posting UNR! I didn't, however, get time to read all of the articles from the link you posted... Wow! A lot of time and effort has gone into making that pink site a very frightening compilation of propaganda writings!

Whoops, I'll stop "exclaiming" now! Probably causes demons to mill about and attracts them - 'cept an article hasn't been written on the pink site yet about this.
