Haunted Places in the UK
I live near the historical city York in the North of England.

It's seen the Romans, Vikings, Normans and many events throughout time.

Anyone else know of some haunted locations in the UK
Yes, my house lol - although it has been quiet for a couple of months.

I live in Manchester and I believe Ordsall Hall is supposed to be haunted.

This book is also worth reading about haunted places, very cheap but i enjoyed it:
RAF Bircham Newton

RAF East Kirkby

RAF Elsham Wolds

Ancient Ram Inn, Gloucestershire

Arundel Castle, Sussex

Bochym Manor

Belgrave Hall in Leicester

50 Berkeley Square, London

Borley Rectory, Esses

Bruce Castle, London

Castle Lodge, Ludlow, Shropshire

Chingle Hall. Goosnargh, Preston

Dartmouth, Devon, steeped in haunted places...

Deane Road Cemetery, Liverpool

Ettington Park Hotel, Warwickshire

Hampton Court Palace

Minsden Chapel, Hertfordshire

Jamaica Inn, Cornwall

The Old Bailey, London

Just for starters...
Apparently, you live in the most haunted city in Europe, from what is declared first thing looking up your city.

I have 'Haunted Inns of Britain and Ireland' by Richard Jones. This book not only gives you the backstory of the hotels and pubs, it gives you the exact addresses and phone numbers of each one so you can book a reservation. There are also, illustrations and photos of the locations. There are no ghost photos, but it's just as well.
He has also written; 'Haunted Britain and Ireland', 'Haunted Castles of Britain and Ireland', 'Myths and Legends of Britain and Ireland', 'Walking Haunted London', etc.
He has a pretty engaging website. I'm sure there is something there for you.

The Golden Fleece
The Black Swan Hotel
Best Western Plus Dean Court Hotel
All Saints Church
Berdern Arch
The Snickleway Inn
York Brewery & Meeting Rooms
Cork and Bottle Pub
St. Mary's Abbey
Clifford's Tower
York Minster
Treasurer's House
35 Stonegate (now a private residence)
York Castle Museum
Jorvik Viking Centre
Mad Alice Lane
Barely Hall
Ye Olde Starre Inn

There are so many in my county let alone in the whole of the UK.So many to choose from if you want to go on the road and investigate or just have a look.
Without proof these are only alleged hauntings.
'A phantom,' said my Uncle Mycroft, who had just materialised, 'is essentially a heteromorphic wave pattern that gains solidity when the apparition converts thermal energy from the surroundings to visible light. It's a fascinating process and I'm amazed no one has thought of harnessing it - a holographic TV that could operate from the heat given off by an average-size guinea pig.' ~ First Among Sequels, Jasper Fforde
