A witches true power

RE: A witches true power
A witch's true power is from the Earth.

'A phantom,' said my Uncle Mycroft, who had just materialised, 'is essentially a heteromorphic wave pattern that gains solidity when the apparition converts thermal energy from the surroundings to visible light. It's a fascinating process and I'm amazed no one has thought of harnessing it - a holographic TV that could operate from the heat given off by an average-size guinea pig.' ~ First Among Sequels, Jasper Fforde

No not Earth. She may be our mother, and the sun our father, but the universe is our real Ancestry. Our power the ancient energy that bind all together across the distance and time.

That makes more sense and it is what I believe and have felt and seen, the universe is our ultimate father and mother both masculine and femine energies and each and every, power comes from one of those sources, light dark, black white, femine, masculine, good, evil, that is the universe and we were all made under it and by it, so we all have power, wow I answerd my own question lol

If you are in outer space then the Earth is up so there is not really an under or above,
especially if it gets related to venerating thing above
That's assuming one is on a body with gravity great enough to create a "down"

Perhaps that is what you believe, but as I am a witch and I know where my own powers come from, that is my answer.

Look at a human being, a leaf, a diamond, a cat, a chair, a clump of mud. You have just seen a universe.

RE: A witches true power
Its true I don't call myself a witch, but I do practice magic of my own variety.

The Universe is simply defined as everything. All of space and everything in it. I don't think anyone will ever see the entire universe in all its, but we all can see part of it.
I am not saying there is life beyond our planet, but I cannot say there is none. If nothing more it gives us a beautiful view of far off stars from our vibrant world. Almost every day at my job I get to see the sunrise if not also sunset. I love the sky as much as I love water, the forests and mountains.
If you do not feel connected both to the Earth and the Stars/Sky; the energy as it changes night to day, of water and stones I am sorry because its beautiful, I really dont have the words for it. The other day I came to the idea we get a rainbow of sorts every day as night breaks open to the sunlight, shifting the spectrum over the canvas that encircles our little imperfect sphere. Yes sometimes there are days that sunrises/sunsets are better then others but like in life every one is important and there is always something beautiful.

What about the moon? Don't you people call/absorb power from it? Don't you moon-bathe and energize things in it's glow?
