Anyone else have this happen?

RE: Anyone else have this happen?
I didn't see what type of recorder you used. The cheaper the recorder the more noises you will pick up. Of course you get more EVPs on a cheap recorder. Trouble is they aren't really EVPs, rather simply artifacts caused by low sample rates, conversion errors, aliasing, IM distortion, and often RF interference from the poor shielding such recorders have. Any type of non-radio electronic equipment may become a radio receiver
by unintentional means (poorly soldered connections and poor contact
between plugs and jacks are the most common reasons),
but it won't happen predictably, and you most certainly
shouldn't expect to be able to make it happen at your will. The principle of operation, for lack of a better term, is that a poor connection can act as a rectifier, causing reception in the same manner as that which makes a crystal radio work. Then cb and ham signals can bleed over if higher powered. Plus what did you do to assure people were not outside the building? Its pretty amazing how sound can travel. I would also suggest to run numerous video cameras with time stamps to locate possible causes.
What do you think your evp's are? remember paranormal has never been proven?

Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

To, UNR sometimes people do get REAL words that are nothing to do with peoples ears hearing what they want to hear.

Perhaps you could explain why radio stations, high end recording studios, television do not pick up stray noise? Perhaps you can also explain how people who are dead who no longer have a voice box suddenly have an ability to control sound waves?

sometimes the quoting/replying part of the forum messes up, several times it has happened before to me. Now I see I'm not the only one. Because it has ME as saying "forgive my ignorance but what exactly is and EVP and how does one get one?." js...

UNR, if you asking me what sort of recorder I used ,it was a cheapy Logitech brand microphone that I connected to my laptop.
Just to show howbad the commenting mechanism is becoming here, the reply by me to UNR about the type of recorder I used was done in the comment box at the bottom of the threads. I did NOT quote any previous comment. This very thing has happened before as I said in my other comment. The problem is making reading/understanding a reply and making a reply very aggravating and hard to do. Until it's fixed I will not be back.

Hi UglyNRude. I figured I'd give you the small bit of info. I have about the recorder I used. I would never pretend to be a tech. Person, and I usually have help with that, but want to learn more. My E.V.P.s actually turned up on a pretty old world piece of equipment. It was an old "Panasonic" hand held analog recorder, which used the mini tapes. Here's the even more laughable part, The tape broke, and I repaired it, and hurriedly copied onto another tape! I hear you laughing now, lol.

My dad was a Ham operator, and he also used a CB radio, so I'm familiar with the style of speaking they use. I did also, on another analog recorder, have to check the brand, have a possible incident od picking up a signal, as you mentioned. I had made a recording about the investigation where as got the E.V.P.s,and when I played it back,a woman's voice was on there, clearing asking, "Who is that there?"

O.K., going back to the E.V.P.s. The place we were staying at was an old farmhouse, not far from Lake Superior. Told man who built the farm and the house was supposedly buried up on a hill in back od the house, but people who stayed there thought there was an old man, who stayed in a back bedroom. My tape started out with what sounded like an older man, nervously giggling, and then he clearly says,"Hello?", and then his laughter which seems to pick up another voice,as if he were using a voice frome somewhere. Then his voice and several others say the name "Sarah." Sarah is the name of the gal who, along with ther husband, invited us there. It's a very detailed story,so for now,I'll spare you. Anyway,I feel the man's voice could be the farmer, but maybe!,of course. The other voices were very odd,and not people sounding. A lot of people on here may have heard the story,so I apologize to them,as zi'm sure it's old news.

Anyway, I think Your input is very important,so I am not out to get us off on the wrong foot on here. We just happen to have different ways of thinking. I am interested in things you have talked about. So that's it for now.

RE: Anyone else have this happen?
Spirits tend to tune in to your own energy frequences, thats why some people hear one thing, others something different.

RE: Anyone else have this happen?
The spirit perceives a voice that is released by vibration.
Energy cells or their membrane with shaking recognizes the sense of sound released by a living person or the environment.

Communication with a living person and spirit is not possible

Duh zaznava glas ,ki se sprošča z vibracijami.
Energijske celice oziroma njihova membrana z tresenjem razpoznava smisel zvoka ,katerega sprošča živ človek ali okolica.

Komunikacija z živim človekom in duhom ni mogoča
