If so we really would love to have you participate in our EVP Perception Study...

Many researchers feel fairly confident about their ability to identify the words being said in their EVP recordings. Unfortunately, paraedolia plays a very big roll in distorting the interpretation. To understand how big of a role it actually plays we created this EVP Perception test. We had members of our team create “EVP” recordings (yes fake ones). The reason for this was that we now KNOW 100% what is being said (or not) in the test file. Volunteers (like you) then listen to these files and see if they can identify the audio and we are able to determine if they are correct or not and how often.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THIS STUDY?

This study serves to help us understand the perceptions of paranormal researchers and witnesses alike. It also provides data on the types of EVP recording that are most easily understood. When we understand the abilities and limitations of human perception it allows us to better establish the reliability and accuracy of human testimony. We can also better understand the analysis of other teams and researchers by establishing the percentage at which the average EVP analysis is likely to be accurate. Any result is another piece of the puzzle.

Give it a try, see how you do! ... and thank you for your help!

Hi, I am willing to give it a try. I have been studying my own experiences of being haunting and audio recorded (EVP) for past few years now.
