Why are people so interested in the Paranormal?
#1
From the beginning of time man kind has always been fascinated with ghosts and death and every other thing that is thought to be paranormal.

It is the way of the human race if they can not understand it then they must destroy it. Why is it that no matter how hard we try to prove that the paranormal is real or that it is fake we get no where? Is this the reason why it has not been destroyed yet?

So What if we could prove it real? Would we only prove it real just to destroy it? What if we prove it fake would we just make it as myth and let it go?

It hasn't been destroyed yet cause people keep having sightings of weird stuff they can't explain.
So..... The Paranormal shall live on, till they invent Ghostie See glasses.

People are so interested in it because they continue to have experiences that defy mundane explanations.

It's not concrete, or graspable.
It's not natural. Thats why its referred to as "supernatural" or paranormal!
How do you provide concrete evidence on that which eludes you?
You can't. Thats just how it is & will be.
Not everything can be explained away.

It's very natural, actually. How can something occuring in nature be unnatural?

To answer both of your questions...because it's there. Because it is. Humans have been a curious creature ever since day one I suspect. It is a phenomenon that happens, to a lot of people, over a very, very long period of time. Nobody, the believer like me, nor the non believers like some here, know what it is or where it comes from. And there lies the interest.

Why do people think there is no proof? Does no one bother to read the science? (Other than to try to debunk it) There is proof of the paranormal, but it usually isn't sexy enough to make a TV series out of it.
