Ghost hunting equipment debunked

The Bible has some historical facts in it, but much of it is written from the interpretation of what people believed--not what was actual fact.

Even some, as you say, facts, are still valuable today for personal research. It's still the oldest history book we have on this Earth.

The oldest? Wasn't the bible copied from many older mythologies?
Belief bias occurs when we make illogical conclusions in order to confirm our preexisting beliefs. Belief perseverance refers to our tendency to maintain a belief even after the evidence we used to form the belief is contradicted.

Indeed it was.

No it's not, check into the Sumerians and the Anunnaki, who were the Sumerian deities.

You know that for a fact? Most, if not all their beliefs came from actual happenings. You think, again, ALL peoples back then made stuff up for the heck of it? They saw things and used the vernacular of the day. Even today people in far off places see jets and think they are big birds. Of course they are not big birds but they ARE something ig, flying in the sky.

What I know is that many of the stories in the Bible were also in older mythologies. It was their interpretation of what was happening which was recorded...not necessarily facts. Human interpretation is flawed.

Ugly...I've already stated there are "false positives" as far as investigations are concerned, caused by exactly what you state, but they would mostly be part of the baseline readings. Where there is an anomalous spike right before, during, or after an orb or other visualization...lets just say there are no coincidences.

And the Bible stories and "older mythologies"...Are you saying that ALL myths and legends come from nowhere? "interpretation of what was happening"....they might have used different words but the experience still happened.

so you use coincidence as a validation method? You ignore the truth about emf spikes and variance that cannot be measured with a baseline reading? Facts are ignored so your belief can be called paranormal?
