A serious problem.

RE: A serious problem.
Odd (hope you don't mind the shortening)? have you thought that maybe your own inner anger could be why you are attracting this type of energy? Maybe looking as to the why of the anger and possibly looking at the reasons from a different perspective, turning the negatives to the positive might help you?

You walk in the long grass and wonder why you can not see!!

Classes here are like a hundred dollars for a series of sessions with martial arts, but I will check out a center near me to see if they offer anything.

But toward Pix, I don't mind attracting energies. I attract positive and negative, not just one single type. Yet as of late, there is nothing but negativity surrounding my family as there are things that have happened which are out of even my control.

My brother has post concussion syndrome, my mother has Meiners Disease, my dad works most of the day, and my other siblings are mostly moved out or have jobs of their own.

My own personal issues with my anger, revolve around triggers. Someone saying something, or doing something that I don't like; is an immediate trigger. Which is why I remove myself from the situation.

It's hard to turn negatives into a positive, when a negative is incapable of changing; ya know?

When you blacked out and the different voice came it sounds as though you could have been channeling some form of energy but if anger triggers it that's the type of energy that will come from/to you.....and you don't sound as though you want this.

Just a suggestion but when you feel the "red mist" why not go outside and chop wood, go kick boxing, thump pillows anything to get the anger out without venting it at a person. Try doing something like learning a martial art which will help give you control over body and mind but be sure of the Master who will teach you (not someone whose in it for the fight but a spiritual person too).

Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

I know a lot about magick, so no it's not that I have no beliefs regarding that. I just know that people are the sum of all of their experiences, and this idea that you can just sweep massive trauma and loss under the rug by burning up a piece of paper...it doesn't work. We are who we are, and ignoring a huge part of who we are isn't going to help, it's actually going to hurt us. We have to face our darkness and acknowledge it...accept it as being a part of ourselves. That's how we can effectively deal with things.

It does work and has worked for some people. Noticed I said "Some". This is advice that can be taken or discarded. That's all, no need to get bent out of shape about it. You sound like a little angry yourself right now, over some advice not geared toward you anyway.

Actually Rose I totally agree we are the sum of our experiences in this and past lives, yes know and own your dark side too. All writing down the trauma does is help you to come to terms with it doesn't take it away but sometimes helps lessen the intense emotion surrounding it to bring it back into perspective.

I don't believe burning it helps, but writing it down helps you identify what exactly it is that causes internal conflict. Which is what one doctor had me do.

RE: A serious problem.
It works for some but not all, I suppose it depends upon the persons experience and the person...as far as burning again it's down to the person, it's supposed to help release the emotions back to the universe but again it's down to what you feel is right for you.

Knowing your trigger points is brilliant but maybe finding something more to channel you aggression into? are you artistic at all maybe painting or throwing the paint onto something or something more physical like digging a garden....I don't know just something to help.

I wonder how I manage to "sound" any way from type on a screen. I'm not in any way angry. I just disagree.

You can express emotions through literary speech. Ever read a romantic feeling passage in a book? Love your name, by the way. It suits you, as mine does.
