Unsolved mysteries!
#1
Hopefully this is the appropriate place to put this! I absolutely love reading about unexplained mysteries and peoples theories on them, evidence and so on, so I though maybe I would reach out and see what unexplained mysteries you guys know about and what you think of them! Stories please! Big Grin

One of the ones I always found fascinating was the disappearance of Judge Joseph Crater in 1930. Here is the wikipedia piece for those not familiar with the story. It's not as well known these days as the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa, but it was just as mysterious..and likely both met with a grim fate.

Also, an old thread I started several years ago about it. http://www.talkparanormal.com/thread-2161.html

I had never heard of that before, it's always amazed me how people can just disappear like that. Thanks Smile

And on a similar note, what on earth happened to Lord Lucan:

I find the Dyatlov Pass Incident interesting. Now they're talking about infrasound being a possible explanation.

"I find the Dyatlov Pass Incident interesting"...just watched a movie based on it, although the "explanation" was a little out there. Also saw it on Ancient Astronauts but that theory is low on my list. Obviously something scared them enough for them to run out into sub freezing weather with barely any close on, and they were supposed to be experienced.

Disappearing people...seems to happen a lot. A lot of younger people are taken for various reasons...sex trade being foremost, but older adults go missing a lot also. I've heard a lot the last couple of years about people, young and old, going missing in National Parks. Conjecture there seems to mostly fall on bigfoot!

Bigfoot, really? lol. I somehow doubt, if such a creature did exist, that it would be interested in kidnapping humans...seeing as it would appear that the Bigfoot is determined to stay away from humans altogether...
