I still lurk here on occasion. I have been busy with college.
It is not so much an allergic reaction as a just a negative one. All of my senses as more sensitive than those of most individuals. Garlic is a very strong herb and will cause a slight burning sensation in my throat, as do other strong herbs like cumin or cinnamon. Strong tastes can be overwhelming. The food I eat tends to be bland like plain rice. It seems to confuse people rather often when I tell them that rice has a flavor as they say it does not and they can not seem to taste it.

I know what you mean that rice has a flavor, and obviously different rices have different flavors. Some rice sucks, I like Jasmine. I really dont have much to add to your thread but your rice statement made me think of something.
Can you smell the difference between salt and sugar? Most people think Im crazy. Im human but Ive always had a good sense of smell, and relatively good hearing compared to most my counter parts. In hearing I was tested to perfect until recently. My hearing is still better then most but Ive lost a little now. It was talked about in another thread eons ago but there is a condition where certain sounds cause side effects. Like the hum of my phone charging or the radio annoys and angers me.
I also have perfect color vision. These are my measurable super powers, amazingly drab arnt they?

I can, in fact. Sugar has a distinctly sweet scent while the best way I can describe the scent of salt is "acidic" much like its flavor. I often avoid both. I taste the difference between organic apples and regular apples as well.

Hello Dusk... I wonder why did you use 'Dusk' as your screen name, by the way...?

Anyway...

Ever think about the possibility that there's something else beyond your consciousness that needs the energy from the blood you're drinking?

I use Dusk because it is my first name.

no, I have not considered that in the slightest because i am not religious and i have previously stated that there are no "spells" or "magic" that can cause this.

I cant say for certain outside the USA, but if you are within I call bullpucky on the organic. This is not to say that you cannot taste the difference in apples, but even apples in the same picking and tree can and usually do taste different. At least in USA organic can mean MANY things. As such Ive learned not to trust the word. Usually I get my apples from one of three local farms. Luckily Im more toward the country so I tend to have some better options then some, I also grow alot myself. Things like tomatoes are disgusting from the store.

As a random story in HS I had gotten up leaving my drink at the lunch table, I forget what I was getting. Anyway when I returned my tea tasted gross. It was in one of those cardboard containers that we would open then leave it pointed to sip it out. I opened mine up and saw a single whole grape floating in my tea. Now I hate grapes, and my friends knew this. They were trying to prove the point that I wouldnt taste it{really a harmless joke as HS pranks go}. They failed.

I have no idea what the word "bullpucky" means.
The difference between "organic" and "normal" is generally the chemicals used and the point at which and how the apple is harvested.
A single element can ruin something completely. This I well known.
This seems to have gotten off topic.
