Satanism

AxA, one thing I am sure of.....you are one of the most intelligent young ladies I've ever had the opportunity to know...as much as you know anyone on the 'net anyway. I have no doubt that you will go far in any path you choose.

I have to agree with CT.....and I think that Christianity has gotten a bad rap mainly because of those people who don't strive to live their lives the way Jesus taught. And as he also mentioned, the evil associated with the Christian religion had very little to do with Christians themselves....it had to do with people in power hiding behind the word "God".....not the Word of God.

Let us know how it goes for you!

Quote:Here is the equation:

Christian = Christ Like

Therefore if it is not Christ like it is not Christian no matter how many signs you put up and no matter how many members you have.

Caretaker...I agree.....WWJD....What would Jesus do....it's good to remember that phrase....it's addictive.

Yes Warrior

Unfortunately, for too many people WWJD means "What would Judas do?"

Well I never thought of the quote that way. But your right....we are in a generation of "me" right now. I try my best everyday to do things the right way for everyone involved. Sometimes I mess up and have to apologize. I really try my best to analyze myself constantly to become a better person. I learned this concept in AA (alcoholics anymous)...it is part of the twelve step recovery program. The thing is...the program is good for anyone, alcoholic or not. We take a fearless, moral inventory of soul...search for our faults and seek to improve them....and when possible we apologize to those we have wronged. When you get to the end of the program...you redo the last 3-4 steps over and over for your entire life. You "clean up" your side of the street so to speak.

Satanism (put that in "") isnt a religion. its really human nature. i cant imagine how many religious nuts read it and felt "disgusted" yet it described them in a nut shell. i am an atheist, not a satanist. i have read the satanic bible, its a good read but its no book of evil or devil worship. its about ppl grasping their true nature.

Technically it is a religion. It has followers with beliefs.

This is the definition of "Religion" from Wikipedia.

"A religion is an organized approach to human spirituality which usually encompasses a set of narratives, symbols, beliefs and practices, often with a supernatural or transcendent quality, that give meaning to the practitioner's experiences of life through reference to a higher power, God or gods, or ultimate truth."

In this case, the higher power is Satan.
