"I used to see with yellow eyes"
#1

So I was having dinner with my son, who is six, we weren't talking about anything in particular when he starts talking to me about how he used to see with yellow eyes and it made everything yellow-y, he didn't get to see red or blue or anything. I asked him what do you mean you used to? He says, before I came to you I did. I tried to probe further but he was done talking about it. Thought it was strange

That's very strange. Don't bring it up and see if he reveals more on his own.

Maybe get him a pair of those Blue Blocker driving glasses that are yellow to try and see if he responds.

Im not good with leaving things alone lol Ihave been delicately nosing around to him, not really any responses, I definately need to look into some of those glasses though and see how he responds!

I hate to be the guy who intervenes on a paranormal discussion with a scientific theory, but, if he brings it up again he may want to see an eye doctor just to rule out any medical issues. I know, I'm very open to the paranormal and the occult and hate when someone brings everyday science into the picture taking all the fun creepiness out of things. But, I insist that those of us who've had or are having personal experience or witness to an event that is possibly paranormal have a responsibility to weigh in all the possibilities and research thoroughly. I'm not a doctor but I know it's the cones and rods in our eyes that allow us to perceive color. From personal experience, colors and lighting used to look a lot different to me in my 3rd, 4rth and 5th year of life than they did when I was 10 or 12 and certainly way more different than they do now in my late thirties. Could be something very normal, the aging process or maybe a nutrient deficiency? A paranormal possibility could be that he was being accompanied by an intangible, inorganic being (temporary, spiritual guardian?) and the energy it was giving off was filtering stimuli and causing it to appear differently then they do in it's absence.
....So she said to me, about my fictional horror writings, "If you really want to frighten people, write about your adolescence."

not sure if this is still relevant, but if you ckecked up on your son's health and he's fine and you still think he might have told you something about his past life: Xanthopsia sounds very much like it!

This is an old thread, but it caught my attention. When a baby is born he can already see. Could it be possible that he was talking about while you carried him?. The light could possibly penetrate the belly/muscles/uterus and cast a yellow tint to the watcher (baby). It's known that some babies, if not all can recognize the voices of it's family members it heard after the ears were though forming.
