The Stanley Hotel, Estes Park

Their site doesn't specify the ghosts that inhabit this hotel, but it's the only hotel site I've discovered where they actually have ghost tours listed on the site. This hotel was Stephen King's inspiration for his book The Shining. Room 217 was where he stayed when the idea came to him.
Here is an article and some pictures on TrueGhostTales

The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it. ~ Terry Pratchett

The Paranormal Beliefs Survey  ~^*White face*^~  Paranormal Questions & Answers
Am currently watching Most Terrifying Places in America on the Travel Channel and of course the first haunted spot in the list is the Stanley. While I knew of its inspiration for Stephen King, I had no idea it was built by the man who began the Stanley Steamer Company. Very interesting!!! They also said the labyrinthine hallways is what sparked King's imagination for his book.
