Ok so recently i came across a Mexican video on YouTube of a bird and the people in the video say its a witch (they take the shape of animals and such). Now, I don't know what to believe but in the video they ask if its a witch and if its sick and such and the bird seems to answer shaking its head! I wonder if it really was sick? I think this because it looked pretty bad it was like exhausted or something and it stared at the person filming and asking the questions. This might just be me but I feel strange watching this Smile i would like to see what people opinion is on this, so please tell me what you think or if there is an explanation as to why the bird looks that way. thank you video link below!!!

Wow. It's hard to believe that in this day and age, people see a sickly bird and think witches and shapeshifters.

Am open to the notion on "shape shifters", though have never met one. As for "witches", guess one has to define what is a "witch", and go from there. I have met some, supposedly, in Europe and in the islands in the Caribbean. Some impressed me, some were laughable, and a very few were downright frightening.

I know the techniques to shapeshift myself, but it is very hard to do, requires to join the astral body and the phisical into one, thats being awake and deeply asleep at the same time, thats more than just lucid dreaming or OBE, it is IBE (inside body experience) , but first the shamans start practicing to do the transformation in lucid dreams, then, when finally you control it, one day you will think it was a dream but you were really out there in that shape.

Legends state that any reasonably good master of the "craft" or "arts" can change their shape to whatever they wish, whenever and wherever they choose to do so.

That's not like that, to shape shift is one of the hardest things for an occultist, and most of the ones whom mastered it only learned to do one transformation, and they pass that teaching to their pupils. Only a master out of this world could teach a wizard many transformations, it takes a whole life of practice to do well only one if nobody teaches you, so, to perform 10 you would need to spend almost 1000 years practicing. It is not like the tv shows, it requires lots of energy and effort. Just try it in dreams, then you will see how hard would be to do it in real life. Not even the biggest masters can do it easily, and its even harder to keep conscious and not act like the animal, and its hard to come back to your original shape. Even the Djinn, whom know much more than us and live thousands of years usually can do well only one transformation.

Don't forget that I lived 17 years in Mexico, my grandmother was a shaman, I grew up listening her tales. In Mexico any common healer or shaman, or even normal people know about shapeshifters, that's one of the main things of mexican shamanism, in every town you will hear stories of bird-women, dog-people, mounstrous transformations, those stories are normal for them and those teachings are accesible to any pupil, in Argentina, where I lived other 17 years in the mountains, there are many of those stories too, not that many like Mexico, but you have also lineages of raven-witches and dog-shamans. In Brazil and Peru, for Ayahuasca shamans shapeshifting is something normal, everyone who gets into that can see how it works with he's own eyes, but that doesn't mean that you are gonna be able to perform it materially, first it starts in the consciousness. In ayahuasca rituals the guide sometimes takes the people to the animal levels and you see everybody acting like snakes, but they still have human shape. You gotta be careful because they are gonna react like real snakes and they can bite you.

This is a witch practicing the form of the crow for future shapeshiftings, that goes together with lucid dream practices. Some say that the crow over she's head is she's master already transformed, an older witch.

Now that I'll believe when I see it , up close and personal. Read about it, those that say they can do it, which is their right to believe they can. Some folks I have met swear they can summon the Devil, now that is something I definitely want to be there when that is done.
