THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN

THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
The story below is what i have just posted on my site, it is my eldest daughter's experience, but she wanted me to send it in under another name since my relatives read the site.

She told me this after i had told her and my family of my ouija board experience. I never knew that she had been messing around with a ouija board until then. I was really shocked by her story[/i].

Here it is:

Along time ago when I was about fifteen years old, my mates (about four or five of them) and I decided to play on my best mate’s mum’s ouija board. We took it round to my other friend’s house as her parents were out. We turned the lights out and lit some candles and then we sat around the table.

We asked the usual questions and after about 10 minutes of messing about the planchette started to move. We all thought someone was pushing it at first, but we still carried on and let it spell out who it was. It spelled out Marilyn Monroe. Of course we did now think someone was moving it and I got pretty mad as I really wanted it to work.

I decided to ask if it would show itself to us. In response, it spelled out, ‘get it darker’. So we blew out most of the candles and just had a couple going. The thing spelt out again, ‘get it darker’. I was getting a bit jittery now as I had a bad feeling about this. We blew out another candle, but it yet again spelled, ‘get it darker’, then it spelled it out again and again. This thing was moving so fast, we all got frightened to death and stopped playing with it.

About a week later we got hold of the ouija board again and this time we had no-ones house to go to, so we took it down to a field near to the train track as this was the only place we could think of where we wouldn’t be seen.

Now what i’m about to tell you is absolutely true, but it sounds so childish, but i’ll tell it how it happened. We started playing with it and immediately it worked and spelled out look under the board. We all looked at one another and looked under the board, written in like a pinkish ink was, ’satan was ere’.
I thought that someone had written it and so did all of the others, so we weren’t at all bothered by this. Anyway we carried on playing and then it spelled out again, ‘look under the board’. We turned the board around and that writing wasn’t there anymore. We all ran out of there so fast leaving the board behind.

I have never played the board again and after reading all the stories over the years of people who have also had it work for them, I think we were being messed around with by something. I’ve heard that the boards lie all the time and say they’re someone that they aren’t. I’ve also heard that if you play with them and don’t say a prayer before then you usually have bad spirits that you’re dealing with. What do you think, has anyone else had something happen that was like my one?

RE: THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
Nothing that extreme, but it was still enough to keep me away from them. My sister and I tried to contact my grandfather after he passed away, and got very afraid when the door to my room slammed shut, and I couldn't open the door for a few minutes because something was holding it shut. I'm assuming your daughter is okay, and certainly it sounds like she learned a lesson. I believe that demons look for any portal they can get through, and my own experience of the after effects of not closing the board properly was enough to convince me. Thank you for this very interesting post. I have been questioning whether my experience was actually connected to the board or simply another odd happening in my house. I just can't let go that it was the board.

RE: THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
Thanks for your comment, my daughter was really very nervous of allowing me to post this. She will have nothing at all to do with the paranormal again ever! I had a job to get her to write this, as she thought it was that stupid sounding with the bit about, 'satan was ere' - like a child would write. She said that was exactly how it was spelt. Another case of whatever was behind the ouija lying or playing us for fools.

She has never had anything else happen to her. But she kind of blames the fact that she was messing around with it, relating to an accident at sea, my husband and I had. I told her that was nonsense etc, but she couldn't get that out of her head for quite a while. I didn't know at the time, but the time we had the accident was around the time her and her friends were messing around with it.

I only found out that she'd been messing with it about 3 yrs after her experience, when i told her of mine.

Anyway, thanks again. She has asked if anyone has commented. I said it doesn't matter if they don't as know one knows you or can see you, ha ha. Bless her!

RE: THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
That was an interesting experience with the board.

Honestly I learned years ago to leave those things alone. It is good that your daughter doesnt mess with them any more.

Maybe when she was messing with the board instead of "causing" the accident maybe she was picking up on something negative that was going to happen.

She did say her head was pretty messed up after her experience and so were her friends too. I think you just tend to link things that are negative when you have done something you really regret, which you think could also have been negative.

What made you decide the ouija was best left alone years ago?

RE: THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
In no way, and I am sure you made this very clear to her, was it her fault if an accident occurred because of her inexperience. When events in my home kicked up, my parents believed that it was natural poltergeist activity and I was the center of it. Maybe they didn't mean to, but I used to cry myself to sleep every night thinking either through the board or through the natural occurring energy my parents thought was coming from me, that it was my fault. I would not wish that guilt on anyone.

You didn't cause anything, don't let anyone blame you for their problems.
I'm so sorry i never even commented on what you said before, i'll go back and have a look, i was so wrapped up in my daughter getting a good reply.

Well, i think it seems too much of a coincidence (hate that word now) that the door slammed shut just as you were playing the ouija. I bet the door never slammed shut at any other time.

You just know don't you when the ouija has really worked. I must admit myself i often question my experiences and then i always come to the conclusion that i really did have these things happen - like it or not.

RE: THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
That was an interesting story. I know my one time experiences was nothing compared to what your daughter experienced but it was enough to make a believer out of me. I don't know that our subconscious can do something like this when we are thinking, I am not moving that thing. I just don't know. But I do find that reading these stories on the Ouija board is convincing me more and more that it is a spirit. Be it a demon, which I think is most likely or a ghost, there is something other than what we can see or touch or smell, etc. just outside of our own senses.

RE: THE OUIJA BOARD AND SATAN
I know, I feel the same way Pitch, even if i hadn't had the much publicised (on here) attack later, i would still just have to say that the ouija experience did happen. You have to really be there and experience something for yourself before you can fullly believe and i accept that for anyone who hasn't had such a thing happen to them, it is so hard to believe.
