We Accidentally Dug Into Someone's Grave!
#21
I bet that freaked you out when you remembered that it was around the time of uncovering that grave. It might have been the spirit of the person in that grave.

You were 33 yrs old? well you still didn't intend digging someones grave up. What are the chances of digging a grave and then discovering it is a grave already Huh You wouldn't even put a bet on it.

I have experienced sleep paralysis one time in my life and it was right after this incident. I was living in an apartment at the time and only lived there around 3 months while I was waiting to move into a house. It was while I was living there that we buried my step-father and when I had the experience with sleep paralysis.

Yeah, it did freak me out a bit. I dont know if there was a connection or if it was just a coincidence, but I have only went through Sleep Paralysis that one time. At the time it happened I never even thought about the grave or anything like that. Also, at that time I didnt know much of anything at all about SP.

The grave yard was one of those really old family cemeteries that was made on a hillside. There are a lot of those in this area. I know of a few where there are hardly any markers at all just sunk in places and the trees have even grown into the graves. I actually plan on getting some pics this summer of some of these older ones. I did post a few pics from one cemetery here awhile back. We had to walk up a hillside to reach it - it would be very difficult to even get a vehicle up to it.

I don't really believe in coincidences anymore, there have been too many weird ones in my life that have happened similar to yours and around the time of something paranormal happening. Like when i played the ouija board and then something attacked me not that long afterwards.

The fact that you suffered SP around the same time and not at any other time in your life, or that your SP didn't happen at a much earlier or later date is too much of a coincidence.

I agree with Eyepriestess about coincidences...I just don't believe there are any. Everything happens for a reason, even if we don't put it together at the time. Thank you so much for sharing that story.

heres my thought on the whole thing I would not want to dig in to something like myself I kow or i think that my dad did once but he never got to the point where there was a smell. It could have been another part of my family but I know that they hit something and dug no farther.

To me the world is one giant grave yard. Look at how long this old world has been going and how old man kind is and all that is dead now and where did they go mostly in the ground. When I was little I was always told by my mother never to step on a grave because it will disturb their peace and to this day if I am on a grave I do not step on the graves or at least I try not too. But you are stepping on ppl all of the time some graves are to deep to be found by just digging another grave but it happens all of the time with your same thing. I have also all ways heard that the smell of human flesh is the worst smell ever I have heard ppl talk that does cremation that the burning flesh of man is the worst smell in the world..

I wonder if it is because alot of us are mainly so full of negative energy why we smell so bad when we decompose. Whereas animals and other living things only live to survive.

I really dont think that is the cause.
I can not nor can any one else answer this ??
There are some out there has no negative energy but yet I bet they smell awful when they die as well I dont know ?
But that is a good thing you brought up.

Frown OH Caretaker! that is so creepy. At the age of 14 my mother took my sister and i to the East Texas town where she was born (had been there before but this time it was "just us girls") and Mom took us around to the different cemeteries where family was buried. In this one really old church yard I got tired of just standing and looking at my great-grandmother's grave so I wandered off. It had been raining excessively and I had to be careful where I stepped to keep out of the mud. While walking around I accidently go to close to the edge of a grave and the next thing I knew I was sinking. Thank God only one leg sank into the grave - all the way up to the knee - and I swear it felt like something had a hold of my ankle and was pulling me down. It scared me so bad, I screamed - and of course my Mom told me not to ever scream out like that in a cemetery - it was disresecptfull. I didn't care, I was terrified. I had that "icky" gray mud on me and had to wait until we could travel back to my grandmother's house to get cleaned up. My Mother said the whole thing was my imagination and I shouldn't have been out there wandering around. All I know is that I sank into a grave up to my right knee and I had to sit down on the ground to get enough leverage to pull my leg out of there. You bet that I am really careful since then, and it still creeps me out to this day.
