Advice: Do Not pray while being attacked by a Demon.....

RE: Advice: Do Not pray while being attacked by a Demon.....
Like throwing gasoline on a fire. From what I have read, just praying, either a religious person or layman don't have the tools to do any good and don't you think the demon knows it. They are "smart", define "smart" anyway you wish but you might as well be throwing holy water on it. Come to think of it, the holy water might be more helpful than praying.

The notion of picking one time of the year to be decent to other people is obscene because it's actually validating the notion of being miserable wretches the rest of the year.

Praying might work for yourself. Because it might give you hope to get rid of him, it's just empowring yourself to fend the demon of. It's rather this hope than some magic that comes from the prayer. + I rather have physical damage from a demon than the mental damage it can do.

This is actually how I know its not just a dream, because I'm aware of the situation and it always occurs in the very room that I am actually asleep in. I guess you could say I'm having lucid dreams....but really I think I'm actually in the spirit realm at these moments.

A demon knows your fears and it knows how to scare you out of your faith. The only weapon a demon has against prayer is to shake your resolve.

Praying will just piss the demon off.

YOu can ask "In Jesus Name I bind and rebuke you. But as for your prayers are you praying aloud? when you pray out loud other then binding and rebukeing you are telling the demon your fears as well as God. They listen. The Lord tells us to pray in a closet and to me that means between you and God and in your heart and head not out loud.

you can also anoint you house with olive oil all windows and doors from top to bottom but always leave a window cracked so they can get out. They can shatter your windows. I also add a line of oil across the thresh hold outside the doors. read the 91 psalms when your are anointing and also anoint your bed and animals. demons can inter in your animals as well you have to keep them protected as well. they look to you to keep them safe just like you would a child. anoint all beds in the house as well until you get it under control and find someone to help you. feel free to email me if I can help in anyway. be blessed

Absolutely correct! The spoken word is crutial when ridding a demon, but our inner prayers and our thoughts are private. I call it 'heartspeak'. It is our place of connection with God. I have said it before and I will say it again. Demons have to follow certain rules, the first and foremost being they may not interfere with prayer.

If spoken prayer is angering a demon it is because it is working.

I agree, from my experience i prayed out loud and my mind was taken out of the situation where a demon was in the same room.
